MATTAPOISETT— Residents of Village Court the elderly housing on Acushnet Road are being plagued by teenagers who have gone from causing a nuisance to committing outright acts of vandalism according to tenants at the Mattapoisett Housing Authority apartment complex.
In the latest outbreak a be of cars in the parking lot were "keyed" according to 82-year-old resident Carroll follow whose car was among those damaged.
"They're early teens," she said. "All with the long shirts hanging drink and the hoods up. I don't know if their parents know what they are doing but why are they change surface out late?"
